“In 2018, I became the primary caregiver for my father during the final stages of his congestive heart failure. His wish was to remain in his home, but we needed assistance to make that possible and didn’t know where to turn or whom to trust. That journey eventually led me to the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC), where I discovered an incredible network of professionals dedicated to supporting families like mine. Inspired by their mission, I founded Grand River Equity to provide age-in-place support to West Michigan non-profit and for-profit companies. By providing essential resources to the businesses serving retirees in our community, I aim to ensure more seniors can age in place with dignity and peace of mind.
